Check debt & repay Kopa airtime advance by Airtel Kenya

Kopa is the Airtel Kenya service subscribers can use to borrow airtime, data and cash and pay back later. It is similar to Safaricom Okoa Jahazi, Telkom Pewa and Equitel Jiokolee. In this article I am going to show you what to do as an Airtel subscriber once you borrow airtime or data on your line and you want to pay back your debt.

Why is this even necessary you ask? Well, like I said in this article about Okoa Jahazi awhile ago, Safaricom is really good at taking back any money owed to them. Immediately you top up your line, they will jump in your account and take back what they are owed.

Airtel Kenya still hasn’t mastered this. You can top up and wait for several minutes before they recover their money.

So, sometimes after borrowing, you might want to speed the process a little bit once you top up – tell them ‘Here’s the money I owe you, take it. And thank you.’

That is the point of this article.
