In this post I am going to show you how to buy Safaricom Platinum bundles on your line. Platinum bundles combine SMS, data and minutes.
They are almost similar to the bundles Safaricom sells under the *544# > All in One Bundles menu.
So, what do you get exactly with Platinum plans / bundles?
- each Platinum plan comes with unlimited SMS. There won’t be need for Safaricom SMS Bundles (sold via *188#) once you purchase a Platinum bundle.
- each Platinum bundle comes with 6 GB WhatsApp data. This is on top of the data you get (4 GB, 12 GB, 20 GB, 35 GB & 40 GB) depending on the plan you pay for.
- some bundles only have minutes you can use within Safaricom network. Some plans have local minutes – minutes you can use to call other networks. Other plans even include international minutes – minutes you can use to call USA, Canada, India and China.
- you get to spend between Kenya Shillings 1000 and 10000. The cheapest bundle goes for 1000 Shillings while the most expensive bundle on the list goes for 10000 Shillings. The other bundles on the list go for KSh 2000, 3000 and 5000 Shillings.
