How to buy Safaricom Flex bundles: Flex for 30 days, 7 days and daily

Want to learn how to buy Safaricom Flex bundles / units? I am going to show you how to use the *456# and *100# USSD shortcodes to make a purchase for your own line or another Safaricom line.

But first, what is Flex? These are 30 day, 7 day or daily bundles you can buy on your Safaricom line with your airtime or money in your Safaricom M-PESA account.

Each bundle is essentially different amount of units put together to make a Flex bundle. 1 Flex unit is equal to 3 MB of data, 3 SMS or 20 seconds of talk-time.

Note: This post may contain affiliate links. When you click on something I recommend and purchase it, I will receive a commission for the sale – at no extra cost to you.

You can use your Flex units towards:

  • making calls locally
  • sending SMS locally
  • accessing the internet
